Easter Eggstravaganza at Bude Sea Pool on Summerleaze beach, 12-2pm on Sunday 9th April. Fancy dress, egg hunt, treasure hunt and more.
Bude Literary Festival 2023
Back for its second year, Bude Literary Festival 2023.
The festival program commences on Wednesday 17th May with a fun festival quiz, followed by main events from Thursday 18th May until Sunday 21st May (with an additional community event on Monday 22nd May). The festival office will be located at Bude Library this year and will be available to provide information about our events and sell tickets.
The festival will be held across three main venues: The Castle Heritage Centre, Bude Library, and The Parkhouse Community Centre, all within 5 minutes walk from Canalside apartment.
Bude Triathlon 2023 – Holiday with a difference?
How about a holiday with a difference? Bude Triathlon is an annual event, with 500m sea swim, 11m ride with stunning views and finishing with a 3mile run.
The event always starts at high tide and this year that’s about 11:30 on Sunday 25th June. Click here to find out more and register.

Bude Farmers Market
Bude farmers market runs Friday morning from April to September alongside the lower wharf, just 3-4 minutes stroll from the 2 Canalside. Take a look, it’s open from 10am to 3pm. Although quite a small market there is a great range of local produce and crafts. After taking a look around the market, there are plenty of places to explore along the wharf including the Olive Tree, takeaway coffee from the Split Bean and even try the Barge, a floating café!

Calling all foodies!
The Bude Food festival is happening on Monday 18th of April from 10am-6pm on the lawn at The Castle Bude, Café, Galleries and Heritage Centre. Combining delicious street food with an artisan farmers market, it’s going to be a wonderful celebration of Devon & Cornish food & drink.
